on Aug 14The pictured Fly Denali DHC-2T Turbo Beaver registered as N30CC (known in the company as "Charlie Charlie") was involved in an accident at Wasilla, Alaska on Friday, August 5, 2016.
The Beaver was landing at Wasilla to refuel before continuing to its base at Healy, when a visiting Cessna 210 landed on top of it over the runway. Wasilla does not have an ATC facility, therefore each aircraft makes a "blind call" on the airport frequency. No serious injuries were reported.
This photo was taken on Ruth Glacier, Denali on June 8, 2016 before the tragic accident.
